An Aussie band that began in the 80's. Known for their cover version of "Witch Queen" in 1987 as well as hits with "Wanna Be Up" in 1988 and "Love The One You're With" in 1991. The Chantoozies were made up of four women and four men. Members were Ally Fowler (star of Aussie Soap "Sons and Daughters"), Angie Labozzeta, Eve Von-Bibra, Tottie Goldsmith (later to be known as the presenter of the raunchy lifestyle show "Sex/Life"), Brett Goldsmith, David Reyne (brother of Australian Crawl singer James Reyne and current co-host of Australia's channel 7 morning show), Frank McCoy & Scott Griffiths. For some reason Chantoozies released a cover of "He's Gonna Step on You Again" as a synthy dance track at the exact same time The Party Boys covered the same song as hard rock. 1987's Battle of the "He's Gonna Step On You Again" covers saw The Chantoozies run a very poor second place.
